Sean Murphy Electric LLC, local electrician,  is located in Bernardston Massachusetts and serves Western and Central Massachusetts.

Owner and Electrician, Sean Murphy is a graduate of Franklin County Technical School in the electrical field of study.   Sean received his Journeyman's license and later continued his education at Greenfield Community College and received his Master License in Massachusetts.  Once he received his Master license in the early 2000's he began Sean Murphy Electric.

Sean started Sean Murphy Electric with an ad in the back of the local newspaper hoping it would generate some business.  The day his ad ran in the local paper his phone did not stop ringing.  This led to several years of residential, commercial and industrial projects.  While subcontracted with a company out of New York, they offered Sean a position he could not resist. During this time he hung his Sean Murphy Electric hat up for a few years.

In 2017, Sean and his wife, Melissa, decided it was time to re-open Sean Murphy Electric. While away from the business Sean gained more experience in the Commercial and Solar field of electrical work.  He has decided to focus on residential and commercial projects at this time.

Sean is a hard working man and is always willing to share the knowledge he has gained in the electrical field.  He has been a mentor to many of apprentices that have moved on to successful electrical careers.  He is a horseman and animal lover.   One of his best friends is his dog Grizzly.

 

With the thirty plus years Sean has in the electrical field he brings a depth of knowledge to each project.  Sean Murphy is an excellent problem solver and always willing to go the extra mile to complete a job above and beyond your expectations.

We are happy to have Sean's son, Brian Murphy working alongside Sean and learning the trade.  Brian is a graduate of Turners Falls High School and upon graduation he attended Smith Vocational, in order to complete the needed classroom hours for his electrical license.   Brian is hard worker and looks forward to getting his electrician license soon.
